Amanda Sepelak first received her Associate’s degree in Business Administration at SUNY Broome Community College. With a continued interest in business, she pursued further education by earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Binghamton University’s School of Management. Amanda is an Enrolled Agent (EA). Enrolled Agents are authorized by the U.S. government to represent taxpayers in matters regarding the Internal Revenue Service. Tax advisors with these credentials are recognized federally to preparer business and individual taxes, in addition to providing federal tax planning. To maintain her Enrolled Agent credentials she must complete 72 hours of continuing education courses every three years.

Over the course of her college studies, Amanda started pursuing her working career. Her classes in finance, accounting, and management allowed her to obtain various work experience. Her background includes general office administration, bookkeeping, market research, and social media marketing in industries such as manufacturing, aerospace, and retail sales. She has continued her journey with a focus on bookkeeping, tax preparation and other accounting services.

Here at Miller Financial Services, Amanda works as a Staff Accountant. Working with our commercial and nonprofit clients, she performs bookkeeping, payroll and accounting services including financial statement preparation and payroll and sales tax reporting. As a tax professional, Amanda prepares income tax returns for individuals and businesses. She is a dedicated member of our tax services team and strives to provide the best service possible as she helps clients navigate the complex world of tax.
